TIMO HELLENBERG
Dr.Pol.Sc., M.Sc.Econ, Managing Partner, Researcher
Timo is internationally well acknowledged security expert and government advocate.

He has served as a Special Adviser (EU Affairs) to the Prime Minister of Finland and adviced several governmental agencies in Europe, the United States, Russia and the South-East Asia.
​
He has had a two decades academic record within International Relations and Political Science at the University of Helsinki and the University of Tampere.
HANNU RANTANEN
Lic.Sc., Emergency Management specialist
Hannu is an Emergency Management specialist and holds a Lic.Phil. in Information Technology from the University of Kuopio, Finland.
​
He has more than 30 years’ both practical and theoretical experience in the safety and security matters.
​
He has worked in large scale emergencies employed by UN and other international organisations and has participated in more than 20 EU security research projects.
​
His main domains of expertise are Emergency Management, International
co-operation and CBRNe preparedness.
PEKKA VISURI
Professor, Dr.Pol.Sc., Research Director
Prof Dr. Pekka Visuri serves as a Research Director of Hellenberg International.
He is retired Army colonel and has then worked 15 years as researcher at the Finnish Institute of International Affairs in Helsinki (main project: German question from the Nordic perspective, 1990-1993) and from 2008 also at the Aleksanteri Institute, University of Helsinki.

He has been adjunct professor at the National Defence University in Helsinki, specialized in security policy, strategy and political history, and afterwards some years as senior fellow at the Aleksanteri Institute, University of Helsinki.
KIRSI TOPPARI
MSc., Senior cybersecurity advisor
Kirsi has a diverse background in cybersecurity, management and marketing, and has built a career characterised by innovation and growth.
As CCO of Cyberwatch Finland, she led operations, wrote cybersecurity courses and articles.
She is one of Hellenberg International's consultants for EU security projects, drawing on her expertise in cybersecurity, strategic security, marketing and service design.
In her previous positions as Marketing Manager at Business Finland (Finpro) and CEO of SEK Point Oy, she designed and led large-scale change operations, strategic reorganisation and developed new team management practices.
